    A good overview

This book is a good, although somewhat light, overview of Field Marshal Rommel's career. He is revealed as a true man of action bravely taking the attack to the enemy whenever possible. His concern for the well being of his troops and of prisoners of war is barely touched upon. This book whets the appetite for a more in depth review.

    Rommel Knights Cross

Barely adequate history of Rommel A few more sentences & a paragraph or two at certain points would have given a more complete picture of what Rommel was faced with & why ie: lack of fuel, food, & materiels TOO short
