A Dark King Story
Fueled by dragon magic, the dark immortal warriors were never meant to feel human desire, much less fall in love. But when Guy, a member of an ancient order of shape-shifting warriors, meets Elena Griffin—a mere mortal whose beauty and blind ambition shakes him to his core—all bets are off…
Having left America to explore the Scottish Highlands, Elena suddenly finds herself lost in a dark cave—alone, injured, and utterly hopeless…until Guy appears from out of nowhere. Is she dreaming her own rescue when she falls into his arms? A man—and a passion—this strong is too good to be true. It's only a matter a time before she learns the truth about the flames in his heart. And the dragon in his soul…
This is a story of destiny and desire, magic and mystery, warriors and lovers.
These are the forbidden cravings of the Dark Kings.

Ok...a predictable read, slow movingbut too fast when it could have helped to have a little suspense, but an easy read all in all ;-)

Night's Awakening

Another great read. I was a bit unsure as a started to read the second book in the Dragon Kings trilogy whether it would be similar story with different main characters. I needn't have worried, although the secret is the same the story is even more enjoyable as it progresses. I couldn't believe that I had come to the end of the book. I know it continues because I already have the last one waiting in my library but that didn't stop the disappointment that this one was finished. I can't wait to finish this so I can get started on the last book - the washing and other housework can wait. There are a few reviews out there that I have read on other sites that carry on about how horrible it is to read e-books with proof reading errors in them and what a waste of money it is, admittedly not for this author. Although there are a few in this book I urge people not to start reading with the idea of finding fault but to let the wonderful story flow around any errors. This is a wonderfully original paranormal romance with some danger and intrigue thrown in to keep you reading into the night. Enjoy it for what it really is good entertainment and not something turned into an English class for marking, after all there are mistakes in the print version of books we all used to read before this.

Got much better after book 1 and the plot keeps getting better. This and book 3 are a definitely must reads. If you like one and even if you didn't give this one a try and I promise you, you won't regret it.
