I have enjoyed all of the other books in this series and thought it was great that finally Chris would get his own story. He's a cool character who deserves his own HEA. Right? This one is definitely for the fan's (apparently lots of people wrote to Ms Foster and asked for Chris's story) but even then you might feel ripped off. You get jumped from chapter 3 straight to the close with only a small amount of the usual relationship building. It's a whole 4 chapter's long. Sure the price is low but this was almost like she couldn't be bothered. There's hints of the usual story of crime fighting early on that could have been built upon. O.k if the author is not comfortable with MM romance, but she usually put's a good plot together too and it would have been nice if this could have at least gotten to a short story length. Disappointing really.
