A small weird masterpiece.

Loved this book even more than The Lottery, though it has things in common with it. The horror of small town life, and pack mentality, with the quiet and frightening strangeness of those the town pursues. Merricat the narrator has the distinction of being someone lovely and creepy at the same time. Highly recommended!
