Synopsis

Finally, the highly anticipated follow-up to the New York Times bestseller Beautiful Disaster.

Can you love someone too much?

Travis Maddox learned two things from his mother before she died: Love hard. Fight harder.

In Walking Disaster, the life of Travis is full of fast women, underground gambling, and violence. But just when he thinks he is invincible, Abby Abernathy brings him to his knees.

Every story has two sides. In Beautiful Disaster, Abby had her say. Now it’s time to see the story through Travis’s eyes.

Loved Getting Inside Travis' Head!
November 9th, 2015
I LOVED BEAUTIFUL DISASTER!! BUT I THINK I MIGHT LOVE WALKING DISASTER MORE!!! The main reason is we got to see INSIDE TRAVIS'!!!! I absolutely love Travis and Abby's story. It was very refreshing, playful and totally hooked me. This is the first book that I have read where we got the same story from the other leads point of view. I've read tons of books and always thought it would be cool to get the other side so I was super excited to read it! Travis Maddox is the man! I'd gladly be his pigeon any day! :) <3

After reading beautiful disaster I was sad it ended till I found this gem. I loved reading Abby and Travis' story. But being to read it from his side of the story was a bonus. Can't wait to read the other books featuring the Maddox boys.

Love Love Love Travis. This book sucked me from the first page. I laughed and cried all at the same time. Jamie McGuire is a fabulous writer and I especially love how she has written Walking Disaster in Travis's POV and Beautiful Disaster in Abby's. I am so excited that she has created another book about another Maddox brother. Keep them coming

I liked the first book more. Seeing Travis's point of view was a good way of seeing somethings. It gave u a better understanding of the person he is and how he saw Abby. I enjoyed it. Thank you

If you love Beautiful Disaster, you will love this. Reading it in Travis' perspective is so different and you find out his reason for the way he is. I fell in love with Travis even more in this book. Great read and I am now on the second read of it.

I couldn't put this book down! A captivating and unique story. Also, even though the first book (Beautiful Disaster) is the same story but from another character's point of view, Walking disaster was just as gripping!

Wow, what a way to end the story of Abby and Travis. It made the book so much more enjoyable having already had Abby's point of view but also getting to see what Travis was feeling at the same time.

I didn't mind the repetition of the two stories. It was nice to see things from Travis's POV. The mans side. They were crazy for each other and just when yo thought you were taking her side, you could see his side too, his heart crumbling worse than hers.... romantic. I didn't like the epilogue though. I didn't need to know about what happens to Benny. The end with Jim was good enough, made me cry. Really enjoyed no books, read them both in two weeks at Christmas. Very relaxing, and now my teenaged daughter can read them lol

Wow all I can say is this book in combination with Beautiful Disaster changed my views of quality writting. The story overlaps and shares both of their thoughts during there relationship. After reading over 200 romance novels this year. These two made it on my top ten list. I could not put it down.

June 14th, 2013
This book is fan-freaking-tasic!! I loved being inside of Travis' head, you learn little things about him that you never thought he would feel, and you get to understand why he reacts the way he does to certain situations. I loved beautiful disaster, it's easily my favourite book and this one is a VERY close second. I'm so happy that the epilogue was the way it was, I loved finding out that they are still happily married and they have KIDS! I could read it a million times and not be sick of it <3

3.5 stars
April 29th, 2013
I know a lot are complaining about this book being close to exactly the same as the first one, wanting a refund and making it seem like the author TRICKED them into buying this book. If you read the description, you'd know this was going to be the same story but from Travis' POV. I found this book refreshing and entertainint. The whole time I was reading the first book, I've been dying to know what Travis was thinking or feeling. This answered all my questions and I'm happy. Although I'm not a big fan of the epilogue, I felt it gave me closure. I decided to rate just the epilogue seeing that this book was mostly the same story as the first one (I gave the first book a 4.5). I found it entertaining enough to give it a 3.5 star but like ai said, I'm not a big fan of that part.

It was a good book - just wish that it started from the end of the first. It was like reading the first all over. I understand why she wrote it the way she did but it would of kept readers on edge if she actually started a new story rather then repeat and add new to ending.

Who's up for round 2?
April 21st, 2013
Same story as book 1 but loved that it was from T's point of view. The male POV is very different from female - we focus on different things so it was fun to see this story from a different perseptive. Even if you get tired of a re-read, of sorts, the epilogue makes it all worth-while! Loved it!
