They haven't seen that Savannah's eyes are his, and they don't know how desperately the little girl needs her family.
When the settlement that rightly belongs to Josh is threatened, Annie sets out to defend her son. But she might find a treasure more valuable than money, one she never expected, one that is the greatest gift her son could ever give her--THIS SIDE OF HEAVEN.

Ifound this book had my full attention, I could not put the book down. My heat would race, wondering wgat would happen to Savannah, how the poor little girl did not even go to school, but also the things she witnessed at her age. I would highly recommend this book.

This is the first book I ever bought myself. It called out to me. And I believe after reading this book I knew that I wanted to be was a Christian writer. I enjoy reading this book that I read it two times back to back. Sometimes in life things do not work out as planned, but God is always there to help you—always having the best plans for you. (Jeremiah 29:11) Josh was in an accident and was in the process of claiming a settlement so he can claim his daughter of 7, Savannah. After an unexpected event, Josh's mother finds out about his daughter. When Savannah's mother finds out about the money she try to steal it for herself. As Josh's mother fights to keep her son's money, she learns to fight for something more important. At the same time Savannah's faith in God, sustain her through her trials. As she longs to meet a father she never knew, she trusted God that everything will work out. This book is about not given up hope, finding a true treasure, and trusting God to work everything out.
