Very interesting

The Power of Habit had is a very good book to learn about what drives people. While I am not sure that a lot of the examples in the book should actually be classified as habits, I do feel that the anecdotes are very intriguing and that they reveal a lot about human nature. I would recommend this book to anyone as I feel it will make one think about their everyday activities and vices in a different way.

Upon watching an interview of Charles Duhigg, I became interested in this book. This book uses research to show how habits are formed, and how they are important in everyday life. How habits are essential in all life circles.

Informative read!

Often illumination is about viewing a phenomenon in a different lens from that we have been habitually viewing. This book illuminates on how habits are created, maintained and can be changed in our personal lives, organizations and society. Like the author said, although the concept is simple, but to change a habit takes work. The good thing is, we have a guide on how to do it. Informative read!

My prejudiced and opinionated view

Some parts are well written, but some are less convincing. For instance, description on individual habits make sense , whereas social habits such as in Rick Warren's church are little bit confusing or even misleading. His understanding of how civil rights movement and MLK arose would actually match Malcolm Gladwell's Tipping point, but less to do with social habits.

Interesting read!

Great book about habits. As I was reading, I immediately identified various habits of mine; including smoking right after a night shower, and chips and a movie before bed. I took the authors advice and was able to break/replace those habits immediately. Life changing stuff if applied properly.

Gives a really interesting insight into how the brain works regarding habits and how they dictate our lives. Eye opening tidbits on how corporations use this knowledge to their advantage.
