Something very unusual is occurring on this planet right now. You have no doubt noticed it. It may be producing a more than normal amount of challenge and disjointedness in your life, and perhaps even some major upheavals. You are probably noticing it in the lives of others as well.

For a while you may have thought that this was all just your mind playing tricks on you; that things were not really happening any differently, and that youre just a little tired, a little overcommitted, a little oversensitive.

But now, as each day presents itself with obstacles mounting and challenges increasing and more and more personal issues coming up to be faced and healed, it is apparent that all of this is not an illusion, not an exaggeration. So you may be asking, Why is all this happening? What am I doing wrong?

And heres the answer . . .

Youre doing nothing wrong.

AND . . . there is something very unusual going on right now in your life, and all over the planet.

The Only Thing That Matters

This book is very well written as is all of his pervious books. Yes, I did want to know what piece of the puzzle I was missing and what is the only thing that matters really is, as the title tells me I need to know. Mr Walsh talks in depth about the current state our world and how keeping ourselves busy leaves little time for what really does matter. I did keep reading because I wanted to find out what the secret is. We will still have jobs, relationships issues etc but knowing this will help you achieve balance and bliss. 3/4 of the way through he tells you what is. It was not earth shattering news, nor anything new. I did finish the book but I don't think I will read another of his books for awhile.

Having the experience of "what matters"
April 16th, 2013
Ii really liked this book. Yesterday after reading the book, I was testing my awareness of how I had absorbed what was read. I kept going back to experiencing what truly mattered by letting myself be at peace, noticing plants, being with people around me. When I went to the gym I was feeling my workout, focusing on being in the moment. My body and mind were as one, but I couldn't really speak for my soul. It's always there, perhaps it is relieved to be given a clear path to running the show.
