Synopsis

The fourth book in the blockbuster phenomenon MAZE RUNNER SERIES now features chapters from The Fever Code, the highly-anticipated conclusion to the series—the novel that finally reveals how the maze was built!

Before WICKED was formed, before the Glade was built, before Thomas entered the Maze, sun flares hit the earth, killing most of the population.
Mark and Trina were there when it happened. They survived. But now a virus is spreading. A virus that fills humans with murderous rage.
They’re convinced that there’s a way to save those who are left—if they can stay alive. Because in this new, devastated world, every life has a price. And to some you’re worth more dead than alive.

The Maze Runner and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials are now major motion pictures featuring the star of MTV's Teen Wolf, Dylan O’Brien; Kaya Scodelario; Aml Ameen; Will Poulter; and Thomas Brodie-Sangster. The third movie, Maze Runner: The Death Cure, will hit screens in 2018.

Not Bad

This book is not that bad considering it has an all new cast. I think this novel satisfies anyone's thoughts about how exactly the flare got around and how people first responded.

The kill order

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I loved how it explained everything that happened before the maze runner series. It explained how the Flare started to spread, and how a group of average citizens lived through it. The one thing I didn't like was that some details (which I cannot explain because I do not want to spoil the book for you) were left out.

I think it is a very well-written book but I would not recommend reading this book just to say "Oh, i have read all the books in the series" because it does have a lot of gore and is very sad but I think that is what the author was trying to get at and he did very well at that, on the other hand I would read if you want to understand more the story behined "The maze runner" because it explained alot. So I think it is a great book.

Great prequel

Not as captivating as the first three books, but still quite enjoyable to get a bit of background and a better understanding of the setting.

Préquelle efficace
May 25th, 2015

I really liked this book! Even though it is based of of new characters, you will not put the book down. As they continue on their journey you start to build a relationship with these characters. You also get a story about Thomas and Theresa in W.I.C.K.E.D when they were young. I would say this is a good book to read.

The Kill Order Review

A fascinating b00k that fills in gaps from The Maze Runner series. The characters were adequately developed, but the plot was flawed by so many repetitive fight scenes. The book reads well if you skim through the fight scenes.
