Incredible-I read it all night
April 11th, 2015
Amazing re telling of the sensationalized true-life murder mystery of Elizabeth Short--otherwise known as the "Black Dahlia". The author uses a combination of researched history, and imagined extrapolation of odd facts to describe this strange story. The tale goes from California to Mexico with several other stops. Unlike my usual reading tastes, this book is realistic, but exciting, interesting yet reflective without being annoying about it. Also quite gritty...even dirty. It must be the writer's talent alone that hooked me most, because I read this book through in one long night!
