This is a new English translation by ancient Greek language scholar and horsewoman Dr A. Nyland. Xenophon (430-354 BC) was an ancient Greek soldier. "Art of Horsemanship" is his work on selecting and educating horses. Dr. A. Nyland was on Faculty at the University of New England, Australia. She is a coffee and Dr Who addict, grammar pedant and ancient languages translator producing books such as The Kikkuli Method of Horse Training, The Source New Testament, Complete Books of Enoch, and related works, as well as the science fiction / time travel novel Hedgeland (the Hedgecraft series) and the Amy Stuart Paranormal Blogger series (women sleuths / horror/ ghosts), the first two books of which are The Dashwood Haunting and The Ghosts of Morpeth. She also works for social justice.
Dr. A. Nyland lives in Australia and has Arabian horses.
