Snoop Dogg has been in the music industry for over twenty years. At one point he was signed to one of the most controversial Hip Hop and R&B Record Company, Death Row Records. Today, while Snoop still raps about being gangster life and partying he true persona is that of a family man and philanthropists.
Snoop is married with several children. He also started his own football league for the youth in the Black and Brown (Latino) Communities. The league offers young boys a way to be productive with their time while focusing on health, nutrition and going through a form of rights of passage by being coached by men in the community. While being coached the young men are inadvertently learning fundamental principals about life and being a man. This is a fresh approach to mentoring. Since, Snoop started his league several years ago he’s received support from the community and the NFL.
While short this is a compelling read about a young gangster rapper who was able to experience both good times and bad and for all intent and purposes made it out of a harsh community to become one of the more sustainable brands in the music industry while giving back to people who are working on doing what he did… make a great life for themselves against all odds.
This is the biography of Snoop Dogg.
