Synopsis

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

Four friends
One sisterhood
Ten years later, the story continues

On the cusp of turning thirty, Tibby, Lena, Carmen, and Bridget are now living separate lives, out on their own. Yet despite having jobs and men that they love, each knows that something is missing: the closeness that once sustained them. Carmen is a successful actress in New York, engaged to be married, but misses her friends. Lena finds solace in her art, teaching in Rhode Island, but still thinks of Kostos and the road she didn’t take. Bridget lives with her longtime boyfriend, Eric, in San Francisco, and though a part of her wants to settle down, a bigger part can’t seem to shed her old restlessness. Then Tibby reaches out to bridge the distance, sending the others plane tickets for a reunion that they all breathlessly await. And indeed, it will change their lives forever—but in ways that none of them could ever have expected.

    LOVED!!!

I couldn't put this book down and can't wait to read it again! Ann Bashares brought the lives of these four friends together in a way that made me wish I was one of them or a fifth member of the sisterhood.

    Amazing

A sad, heartfelt story. From beginning to end you just want to know what happens next. Every bit of the book keeps you thinking. When reading this book I felt like I was right there all eyes for whatever happend next. I always hate the end of a good book. Not becase it ends badly or is cut short, but because it is over and I must leave that world.

    Sisterhood Everlasting

Having previously enjoyed the earlier Sisterhood books I was interested to see if the character's lives had developed as I imagined. At first I found the book a challenging read, it did not flow as well as the previous books and I thought it was jumping around too much, ignoring characters and repeating itself. As the story progressed I found it easier to read and more enjoyable - more like the previous books. I hoped the story would continue a little further and tie up more loose ends but I can see why it ends when it does. It feels like the author put a lot of work and effort into reconnecting with the characters at the beginning and then was able to write more confidently and tell a better story as the book developed. Overall I think it's a great read.
