What happens when one good-and-angry man fights back is murder—and then some….

Bart Dawes is standing in the way of progress. A new highway extension is being built right over the laundry plant where he works—and right over his home. The house he has lived in for twenty years…where he has made love with his wife…played with his son….  But before the city paves over that part of Dawes’ life, he’s got one more party to throw—and it’ll be a blast….

With an Introduction by the Author, “The Importance of Being Bachman”

I couldn't put it down, and didn't want it to end. I enjoyed every last read. I know this is not a typical Steven King horror story, but it is still amazing and a must read.

How many people can take a highway extension and then wrap a human psyche around it - or vice versa?!

I would rate this book 2 stars. To me it was mostly filler. It was just not a good read. Couldn't wait to finish.

Love Stephen king but this is not a horror story. Just a random rambling on a man who is dissatisfied with life and takes his own life to prove it. Kept waiting for the punch.....
