Do you like your thrillers humorous? You enjoy your crime action blended with comedy? Then 'Light-Fingered Lucy' is so for you!
What do you do if a list of your fellow MI6 agents is going to be released onto the Net? What to do if you don't have the skills to retrieve it? And you've only got 19 hours ... and it's in another country?
Meet Lucinda DeLacy, aka 'Lucy Litefingers', internationally renowned cat burglar, and all-round glamour puss.
Lucy's this non-conforming, ego-centric and self-rationalising Gen Y-er who'll about stop at nothing to get what she wants? She’s all about utilising her cunning, intelligence, and good looks, to outsmart all comers. Lucy’s at her happiest when pilfering from the uber-rich - and on-selling to the ultra-wealthy.
'Light-Fingered Lucy' opens with her pulling off another brilliant heist in London. But soon enough ruthless MI6 agent Oswald Booth rudely elbows his way into her cosy life - rocking her self-satisfied world to its very core...
'Light-Fingered Lucy' is the first of a series of full-length novels liquidising suspense with a healthy dose of cynicism; thrills and exotic locations with a good measure of bad attitude. With just a dash of (Lucy's idea of) romance added to the resulting mixture.
About the Author
Andrew Kelly's spent much of his career helping businesses and corporates comply with their legislative, regulatory and information security requirements. But with Lucy ‘Litefingers' DeLacy, he goes all rogue and bounds over the fence? To the darker, greener - the far more interesting - side?
Andrew wondered what’d happen if he took a ‘Jane Doe’, then removed much of her sense of responsibility, remorse, and empathy? Could such a self-centered, self-preserving - and self-rationalising - character be interesting and entertaining? Could her story be humourous; would it be fun to write?
He decided 'Hell, yeah!' ... and 'Light-Fingered Lucy' was the end result.
