You don't have to be the leader of some Fortune 500 company to have words of motivation that the world would be better off taking heed of. After all, who says that a young, fresh English teacher who helps prepares her twelfth grade students for graduation wouldn't have a word or two for the wise?

Her students year after year vote her as the student choice "Teacher of the Year," and her peers have voted her as "The Most Inspirational Teacher."

What started as words of advice for one of her favorite students, "It Is What It Is...But It Doesn't Have To Be That Way," spiraled into her first book chuck full of the philosophies she uses to live her life by and in it she even divulges the personal experiences that helped her learn the value of those philosophies. Life's the best teacher--and Ms. Frazier is a close second!

A book to keep close and, at least for me, it was like I was mirroring myself in Jan's words. As a "giver", "doer", "goofy", it was impossible not to relate myself with her. For students, teachers and everyone who forgot to check themselves on the mirror for some time.
