The first Alpha and Omega novel, Cry Wolf, unlocked the doors to a unique urban landscape in “a great…new werewolf series” (Darque Reviews). In Hunting Ground, #1 New York Times bestselling author Patricia Briggs invites readers to follow her even deeper into that seductive realm of the unknown…
Anna Latham didn’t know how complicated life could be until she became a werewolf. And until she was mated to Charles Cornick, the son—and enforcer—of Bran, the leader of the North American werewolves, she didn’t know how dangerous it could be, either…
Anna and Charles have just been enlisted to attend a summit to present Bran’s controversial proposition: that the wolves should finally reveal themselves to humans. But the most feared Alpha in Europe is dead set against the plan—and it seems like someone else might be, too. When Anna is attacked by vampires using pack magic, the kind of power only werewolves should be able to draw on, Charles and Anna must combine their talents to hunt down whoever is behind it all—or risk losing everything…

My Thoughts on Hunting Ground
August 22nd, 2015
I am already a huge fan of Patricia Briggs and this story did not disappoint. This story shows us Anna and Charles as the continue to navigate their relationship through the stumbling blocks of their past and present. It also shows the couple heading to seattle for a werewolf conference. There the two must deal with betrayal, murder, and mystery. Charles remains one of my favorite leading man with his patience and understanding of Anna and her insecurities. Anna is still the amazing heroine who does what's needed despite how hard it may be which is why I love her. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Patricia Briggs never fails in her character development. Crossing over from the Alpha and Omega books to the Mercy Thompson novels, she doesn't miss a beat, her unusual mating of wolves â well as the cross mating of an Alpha (Adam) with his mischievous coyote skinwalker, all are must reads. At least they s ure have been for me, I hope by the time I finish the next Anna and Charles there will be another Mercedes and Adam book to dive into,.... Bravo another night of lost sleep well worth the company of these characters :-D
