Ghost Story

Jim Butcher does not disappoint. As a superb storyteller, he keeps the reader glued to the book, unable to put it down until the storyline is resolved. To me, the character of Harry Dresden is someone with the kind of integrity and caring that I would be proud to call a friend. Mr. Butcher is able to create him in such a way that it's hard not to care about what happens to Harry. I as a reader, care that is able to return to his life and be allowed to find happiness, which he so richly deserves!

How do you NOT appreciate the way Jim Butcher weaves a story together into something that takes on the shape of reality, powered by the hopes and dreams of the reader? I wonder just how much "Harry Dresden" is the team of a child who refuses to give up, and how much is the metaphysical foundations upon which we build our lives.

Ghost of talent.

Hands down the worst book in the series. The characters lack the verve they have in the rest of the books. Overall just a long slog with no surprises and little to reccomend it.

Great book. I've always liked underdogs winning. Just when Harry was getting a little too powerful to be such, comes a twist on Ghost, that just makes him an underdog again
