The Stone King has been sleeping for over ten years. Sir Malador, the King's most trusted knight, has been charged with treason and declared the Dark Seed of Imberium. While the King's son has proven himself as an able ruler, not everyone is right in the land.
Young Scyld Sheafson discovers that there is more to the story of the Stone King than has been told, and a dangerous group of cultists known as the Imberon are seeking to revive an ancient evil from millennia of slumber. Haunted by his recent past, and hunted by the Imberon, Scyld sets out to find redemption and purpose in his life.
Dark Seed is book one of the Dark Seed Chronicles. The series follows a growing war between the forces of good, slowly uniting under one banner, and the many forces of evil, who seek power and eternal life.
