All-Star Trivia's New York Yankees Trivia Game
Only the highest-quality, lengthy fun-filled questions about the Yankees!
Do you love the New York Yankees? So do I! I also love trivia questions about the Yankees, and when I was a kid, my Dad would take me and my brother to Yankee games all throughout the season, and even during the playoffs. Me and my brother would create trivia questions on index cards, and ask everyone the questions on the train on our way to the Yankee game.
It wasn't only tough coming up with good questions, but each time we did, we then had to write it out in longhand, and we would always lose the index cards we brought to the previous game. Obviously, technology is better today, and you can do what me and my brother did with our Yankees trivia cards, but this time all you need is a Kobo reader!
The Trivia Game questions are "interactive," that allow you to click on a link for the answer to the current question, and once you see the answer, you can go back to that question or proceed to the next question.
SAMPLE TRIVIA QUESTION FROM THIS VOLUME:
In 2002, the Yankees played the Minnesota Twins at home in on-and-off rainy weather. The game went 14 innings; with the Twins taking a 12-9 lead in the top of the 14th. In the bottom of the 14th, what newly signed Yankee hit a grand slam to beat the Twins in walk-off dramatic fashion?
The way the trivia is set up, it is great for playing with multiple people because nobody sees the answer to the current question, which sure beats the days when the answers were upside down on the bottom of the page.
Each Yankees Trivia question is thought out and written to spark the memory of legitimate Yankee fans. Much of the trivia I see on here about the Yankees is very vanilla and boring. Many of them are "statistics" questions, such as asking you how many strikeouts or walks a player had during a season or seasons. Are you a statistician? Me neither, I watch the games, not the scorecard.
Sure, there are some stats that most real Yankee fans know, but to go beyond that is boring. Each of the questions in this game can be correctly answered if you remember the game or event it speaks of, or read about it in the paper. The human and exciting aspects of the game are what I always aim for when writing trivia questions.
This is the perfect trivia to play when heading to the game on the train, or in the car, or in school.
So, I hope you enjoy this Volume of Yankees Trivia, more are on the way!
