Synopsis

The seals of Shayol Ghul are weak now, and the Dark One reaches out. The Shadow is rising to cover humankind.

In Tar Valon, Min sees portents of hideous doom. Will the White Tower itself be broken?

In the Two Rivers, the Whitecloaks ride in pursuit of a man with golden eyes, and in pursuit of the Dragon Reborn.

In Cantorin, among the Sea Folk, High Lady Suroth plans the return of the Seanchan armies to the mainland.

In the Stone of Tear, the Lord Dragon considers his next move. It will be something no one expects, not the Black Ajah, not Tairen nobles, not Aes Sedai, not Egwene or Elayne or Nynaeve.

Against the Shadow rising stands the Dragon Reborn.....

    Love it!

Probably the best book in the series. So much happens. Excited that I can finally finish this series.

    I Stopped Reading it Here.

This is where the Wheel of Time ended for me. I just couldn't finish this nearly thousand page book that would take years to read. I like Doorstoppers, but they need to be interesting and engaging. This certainly wasn't. The Aes Sedai hate goes way to far, The "PFFT. Men!" dialogue from every single female character became more noticeable unlike the last three books, Rand and Mat become very unlikable with Perrin being the only one I can like, the action is little from what I read with most of the book being traveling, the descriptions although amazing are a bit overdone here, I just couldn't take it. I don't hate The Wheel of Time series. I really appreciate for what it's done with Fantasy and has made the genre a household name. I guess if I finished it and read more I would have liked it, but unfortunately, my journey ends here.
