Two men who hate each other. One impossible mission. A legend in the making.

Hadrian Blackwater, a warrior with nothing to fight for, is paired with Royce Melborn, a thieving assassin with nothing to lose. Hired by an old wizard, they must steal a treasure that no one can reach. The Crown Tower is the impregnable remains of the grandest fortress ever built and home to the realm's most prized possessions. But it isn't gold or jewels that the wizard is after, and if he can just keep them from killing each other, they just might succeed.

Seriously hoping Sullivan keeps coming out with the Chronicles for years to come because they will not get old for me. I love finding out what Royce and Hadrian got up to before Revelations, in more detail!!!

Seems too short, a quick read that is fine, not worth 10bucks really. Love the series though.

Great book with lots of plot building was good enough to read the next in the series.

Absolutely perfect introduction. Better than I imagined their partnership beginning. I had already read the first three books written in this series and the small bit of foreshadowing was excellent. One of my all time favorite books.
