SQUEEZE PLAY is the first in a steamy new series of romances featuring a hunky baseball team and the sirens who challenge the players in the game of love.

Risk Kincaid was finding out that the life of a pro baseball player wasn't all it was cracked up to be. The fame, the fortune, the fans--what good were they when he kept striking out with the one woman who really mattered to him? Jacy Grayson was sassy and spirited, but she only saw him as her rebound lover--the man who picked up the pieces when her heart was broken. Yet Risk had never stepped down from the plate before, and he certainly wasn't going to start now. The bases were loaded --all Risk needed to do was show her that the diamond he had in mind wasn't found on a baseball field.

Very good story, enjoyed it a lot. Jacy & Risk have known each other for many yrs & have enjoyed each other as long. Risk rides to the rescue each time he thinks Jacy has gotten a broken heart from a break up. Dubbed the rebound lovers, Risk doesn't know that from the first time together he's been the only one, Jacy has just been pretending for 12 yrs. They both love each other but haven't told the other. With Jacy injured during a game, Risk can now take care of her & show her how much he cares about her. I also liked the fact that 1 other story line with 2 other couples was entwined as well. Aaron & Stevie & Natalie as well as Stevie & Zen. Childhood sweethearts Stevie has to face the fact that Aaron isn't the same person anymore & has moved on to Natalie. Zen who has felt something for Stevie from the first moment tries to sacrifice himself so she can be happy with Aaron, not realizing that she wants to be happy with him. Can any of them be happy? Can Risk ever say the words he wants to say to Jacy? Loved the drama created by all the different factors in this story, it kept me wanting to finish the book to find out the ending.
