Well written and interesting, but not actually stories. These short pieces are more like reminisces or brief descriptions of life; almost devoid of plot or any kind of development. Despite the fine crafting, the overall tone is unpleasant to the point of being depressing and there is neither a "point" or anything in the way of something to learn.
