    Roman Nights.

As always, Dunnett leaves me breathless. The exposition of the mystery in the final chapter(s) of her books requires more than one reading, in order for the twists and turns to be fully grasped. It is lovely to come back to Dunnett after many years absence and find her stories timeless.
