    Excellent read!

Did you know that Yao Ming was the product of aggressive eugenics? His father and mother - both the tallest basketball players in Shanghai then - were forced to marry and then procreate in China's bid to produce future extremely tall basketball players. This book is an excellent read into the oppressive socialist sports system that China had in the 80s and 90s, with extremely good narrative writing by the author. Recommended for all NBA fans, and especially if like me, Yao was one of your favourite players.
