    Great Reading

For some reason I resisted reading these books - probably didn't like the title. That was a mistake - great book, well written and good characters and looking forward to reading the next three in the series. Hope they are all as good - but I still don't like the title!

Entertaining if you enjoy tales of Rome. Not particularly well written and the editing was atrocious.

good title considering how it was required.

I thought it was well done and enjoyed the entire series. It stayed as close to real History as a novel can in regards to the battles etc.

    Awesome

I could not put the book down. There were many twists and turns to the plot. Non-stop action. Even knowing that Rome will win, I was still on the edge of my seat routing for the characters.
