The first book in New York Times bestselling author Tina Reber’s The Love Series, a sexy, romantic read.

An A-List Movie Star. . .
Ryan Christensen just wanted to be an actor. Never in his wildest dreams did he imagine a life where fans would chase him, paparazzi would stalk him, and Hollywood studios would want to own him. While filming in Seaport, Rhode Island, Ryan ducks into a neighborhood bar for a quick escape from legions of screaming fans . . . and finds much more than he expected.

A Small-Town Girl. . .
Nursing a recent heartbreak, Taryn Mitchell believes men are best kept at a safe distance. But when Ryan Christensen unexpectedly bursts through the front door of her pub, she can’t help but be drawn in by his humor, charm, and undeniable good looks. At six foot two, with dirty blond hair, blue eyes, and an incredible body, Ryan has every girl in Seaport swooning. But Taryn isn’t every other girl.

A Relationship That Doesn’t Follow the Script. . .
Despite her better judgment, Taryn soon finds herself falling hard for Ryan. But is their bond strong enough to survive the tabloid headlines, the relentless paparazzi, and the jealous fans who seem determined to tear them apart?

The first half of this book was really good, I couldnt put it down. That's where it should have ended. The second half was long, dull and the storyline becomes ridiculous. It was almost lke the second half was written by a different author, even the dialogue changed, becoming more staid and stilted. A real shame.

I really did enjoy this book. You had the chance to see two people who are very different but only in their choice of careers. One is an average person while the other is very well known. But both are similar to each other. They both want the same thing without getting hurt again.

This book was long in a good way, it was not dull at any level it had me from start to finish. So much detail but in all the right places. Wow I'm a Tina Reber fan for life. For me this book will be remembered for the rest of my life. It touched me in so many ways!! I have no idea how to write these reviews cause I only write short things if I like it and I feel this book deserves more from me cause the author gave so much In this novel. Kind of boring, who cares about them doing laundry and meeting future in laws? Prefer books with more passion.

Liked it

I liked it, but it seemed like a really long read, maybe because there were times where I would just put it down, and forget about it before going back to read it. It was easy to follow, and I liked the story line, although at time I felt that things were overplayed a bit,
