Synopsis

The critically acclaimed, bestselling novel from Gayle Forman, author of Where She WentJust One Day, and Just One Year.

Soon to be a major motion picture, starring Chloe Moretz!

In the blink of an eye everything changes. Seventeen year-old Mia has no memory of the accident; she can only recall what happened afterwards, watching her own damaged body being taken from the wreck. Little by little she struggles to put together the pieces- to figure out what she has lost, what she has left, and the very difficult choice she must make. Heartwrenchingly beautiful, this will change the way you look at life, love, and family. Now a major motion picture starring Chloe Grace Moretz, Mia's story will stay with you for a long, long time.

    Young love

When I finished reading this all I could keep thinking was "WHY DO I DO THIS TO MYSELF?!?!" I love books that portray good family dynamics, and this book does it perfectly. Mia has an accident with her family....and then she's placed in a comatose state but her body is out and wondering how her family, friends, and mostly her boyfriend, are dealing with her current health status....I won't tell you more. Loved it! It's unusual for me to read this kind of book but I'm happy that I did it. It's a beautiful story about love, life and passion. It makes you think a lot about your own life and what you would do if you were in her place. It is a story about strength and courage and a good read for anyone.

    If I stay

I found myself skipping pages because personally I think there's too much fluff in the novel. Not much of it relates back to the story. I did cry at the end of it though, so I'm not saying it's a bad book. It's a great book considering it really makes you feel what the characters feel.
