    Not a good resource

Not a fan of Cesar Millan. He uses very outdated methods that doesn't actually helps dogs it shuts them down emotionally making them appear controlled. If you are looking for a good training resource Dr. Sophia Yin, Karon Pryor and Dr. Ian Dunbar are excellent resources and use science based training methods.

    Great resource

Excellent information in an easy to read book. Good for anyone considering a new dog or is just interested in dogs in general. Will definitely be picking up a few more of Cesar's books.

This book really gives you the perfect dog!

I started out not knowing anything about dogs, and suddenly owning my very own Little Rascals' Petey! I skipped the part about choosing the right dog for you because, well, I already brought Bpo Bpo home from the humane society. This book was like my personal guide for raising my new baby boy. We are still training, but I get compliments all the time about having such well behaved puppy, not to mention a pit bull. Bpo Bpo loves all new people, especially kids, and thinks every new dog is his best friend. He surprises owners all the time because their dogs always become besties with Bpo Bpo. Which is why I laughed when Ceasar calls Junior the Ghandi or Martin Luther King of canines, because I always call Bpo Bpo my little Ghandi! I get asked all the time how I raised such a good dog, and I say I just googled how to raise the perfect dog, found this book, and BOOM I had the perfect dog. It is devastating to think of all the bad rep pit bulls are given because with the right training they are ridiculously obedient and cuddle masters.
