Good and interesting read but not the best book iv read on ultra marathon running. Worst part of the book are the recipes he puts up at the end of every chapter. Which i found a pointless waste of space in a book. But some people might like it. Overall good book for runners

Thoroughly enjoyable autobiography/cookbook by ultra marathoner Scott Jurek, it's refreshing to read about his humble beginnings and inspiring to read about his passion for the sport. Sprinkled with yummy looking recipes and running tips, it's a solid read. The races get a big redundant and the story lags by the last quarter, but ends, like many races, with a strong finish.
