Anger is an emotion. Secular thinking tells us to count to ten or think of a pleasant memory to control anger. Anger is a symptom of a causal event.
The problem isn't anger. The problem is what caused the anger. The purpose of this book is to show how to abolish anger, how to forgive even the unforgivable and put anger causing events in the rear view mirror.
Anger and happiness are antipodal. They can not co-exist. Being a little bit angry is like being a little bit pregnant. Instead of focusing on what will make us happy we focus on an anger causing event.
Not being angry does not necessarily mean we are going to be happy, but being in a state of anger precludes happiness. The first step in being in a state of happiness is to totally eliminate anger by dealing with the anger causing event in such a way both the offender and offended are mutually mollified as outlined in my book.
