A brilliant story of the struggles women faced when trying to break society's bond of what was expected of them. Kit's strong faith in God and his call to her to be a lawyer is met with all kinds of obstacles to prevent her from becoming a trial lawyer. It is her faith in God and justice that enables her to fight for a friend who is charged with murder. The outcome is uncertain until the final chapter.
