Who controls the game?
The only things Gray Golden loves more than land and money are his flawed adult children and the game of tennis. When tragedy strikes the California real estate magnate just as he is about to break ground on the massive development project he believes will be his greatest legacy to his family and to the world; his daughter, Silly, a former child-star forever in search of being taken seriously, steps forward to see that her father’s interests are protected. Meanwhile, her brother, Stew, an intellectually challenged tennis pro Gray has kept hidden away at a private club in Malibu, finally emerges from his father’s shadow by attempting to bring the new wood racquet he’s been building to market. Surrounded by a cast of supporting characters that could only be found in L.A., BRING THE WOOD blasts forward at bullet speed as bodies pile up on all sides and souls are saved in the grand tradition that buried beneath every great fortune, if not family, lies a great crime.
