Someone-or something-is stalking Abby Marcheson. Luckily, she has her brother's hunky friend Seth to keep her safe. Abby falls easily into her protected life, with Seth constantly by her side, and when he asks her out on a date, she's eager to accept.

But Seth is much more than he seems. A Nephilim, a son of Angels with wings of his own, Seth is bound to spend his life hunting the Shemyaza, evil descendants of Angels. He's kept his wings hidden from Abby in order not to frighten her, but as her stalker becomes bolder, Seth begins to suspect that a Shem has Abby in its sights…

As their flirtation escalates into full-blown passion, Seth is torn. Should he reveal his true nature to the beautiful, trusting Abby? Will she accept him, wings and all, or will Abby flee her guardian angel and fall prey to the sinister force that wishes her harm?

Thank the angels I've made the last page - if I didn't feld obliged because I actually spend money on purchasing this book, it would have been out the window at Chapter 2. This guy is sepose to be Mr. Hero, but he couldn't make his own plan to meet her - her BROTHER's WIFE needs to set something up - really! !!!. One of the other critic's wrote about how stalker books are not in - this was my first and definitely LAST - Unfortunately that also go's fot the auther. And a very seriously complaint about this story: I NEVER came into character with the male or female personality. This is the second time in all the how many books that I read, that the author didn't manage to grab and hold me.

Stalker theme, blech.

My least favorite of Bell's work, though sadly I expected it to be. Nothing wrong with the author or world, I just always HATE stalker story plots, because the characters always try to treat stalkers rationally or panic about them and do something catastrophically stupid, or in this case, both. Here's to hoping the next is better (aka, no stalker!).
