Not terrific but not bad either. Excellent descriptive writing but the author took a bit too long getting to the end...found myself speed reading just to get past the blase portions.

I think this story is so fasanating.Marys characters are so real and really come alive. The step father kinda creeps me out. You guess right away that he is sick.
