Startups are taking notice as Internet firms plan to leave Silicon Valley for Vegas. Computer leaders arrive for the International CES in January and stay in Las Vegas bringing their business to the city. Zappos is setting the standards for online marketing, international e-commerce, Internet advertising, relationship marketing set along with search engine marketing campaigns set in various languages, and strategic management surrounding a loyalty business model. The world isn't only watching. The world is learning. Communities are evolving. Children are playing with parents under the umbrella of core community standards set by Zappos in the center of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Fortune Magazine praises Zappos customer satisfaction rate by addressing the fact that Zappos is one of the best companies to work for on the planet. Annual sales were over $1 billion in 2008 when the recession began over failed financial policies worldwide.

Families in Las Vegas enjoyed Tony Hsieh's Halloween Parade. His company Zappos invested in First Friday a few days later. The firm continues to rejuvenate the economy in Las Vegas during a bad economy as casinos turn to China to keep profits up. I remember when Oscar Goodman, the Mayor of Las Vegas threw his arms in the air as he danced with Zappos executives in baby blue t-shirts after the Zappos employees moved their headquarters to the redeveloped City Hall building.
