Urban Legends

OK if you take the tales with a "grain of salt". Some are obviously nothing but urban legends, embellished over the years of telling and retelling. Some might even be factual or at least originated from factual events but again the stories just do not ring true. Would be an interesting exercise to search snopes.com for each of these tales and see how many stand up to scrutiny and prove to be truthful. However as a bit of light comedy it is nice easy reading that should at least have you smiling if not actually laughing. If you just want a bit of fun reading then this book fits that mould although it could be a lot longer as I am sure there are many more of these urban legends - truthful or otherwise - out there waiting to be added making this a much better book to buy because as it is now it really is only a thirty minute read. A lot more tales would have seen me give this 4 or maybe even 5 stars, but being so brief it really only earns 3 stars. Come on publishers, give us more material to read for our money.
