Synopsis

The sixth installment in the wildly popular Ava Lee series from Arthur Ellis Award winner, Ian Hamilton.

Ava has been in Hong Kong looking after Uncle. She has also set up an investment company with May Ling Wong and her sister-in-law, Amanda Yee. One of their first investments — a furniture company owned by two sisters in Kota Kinabalu, Borneo — runs into immediate problems with a Dutch customer. Ava goes to the Netherlands to investigate, but her life is threatened when she is confronted by a gang of local thugs in Borneo. Out of the shadows comes a mysterious man from Shanghai . . .

Although, in my reading, I came across a couple of grammatical errors (missing words) it did not stop me from reading non stop, cover to cover. I have read all the Ava Lee novels to date and look forward to #7 with great anticipation. Keep up the great writing and thanks.

Enjoyed the recent addition in the series. Some minor grammatical errors here and there but nothing that hampered the story. Thrilled to have a female heroine who is so normal. Will miss Uncle and wondered why he was killed off.

My complaint is it ended too soon and it is too long a wait for the next Ava Lee adventure. An original series and a great read, I highly recommend

Another roller coaster ride with Ava Lee. I can't wait until the next book. It will be difficult to wait until February, 2015. Please Mr. Hamilton, don't let the adventure end there.
