I've always enjoy Stephen White novels, and even though this one only touches on boulder, co, it is still a great story that will keep your interest.

The Seige

Good read, with better than typical psychological insight, and a refreshingly humble cop who plays a lead role in this story. The storyline of this entertainment is driven by and drives serious larger-than-entertainment reflection on current events and future policy decisions regarding American military actions. The author's humour is disarming on the one hand, but deadly when it wants to be, especially as it targets vain mainstream media and bureaucratic ineptitude. This was my first read of a Stephen White novel. I look forward to reading more by him.
