Synopsis

US Navy pilot Lieutenant Tom Farrel, call sign “Hawk,” is ordered to a fighter squadron about to embark for combat operations in Vietnam. As he becomes obsessed with glory, measured by medals for valor in combat, he seeks out dangerous missions and attacks targets with risky tactics.
