Synopsis

The Babylonians were an ancient civilization which inhabited Mesopatamia, modern day Iraq. The Babylonian Empire controlled a number of cities between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers circa 2000-1000 B.C. It later was under the control of the Assyrians, and the Persian Empire. The History of Babylonia starts prior to the founding of Babylon, and then proceeds into its dynasties and later years. A table of contents is included for easier navigation.
