good read; stories hold up well!
July 21st, 2015
All the stories are well written, well crafted, and do not seem to 'old' or 'dated'. Well worth picking up. I hadn't heard of this author despite a lifelong interest in Sci-fi, so I was doubly pleased to find a 'new' thoroughly ejoyable set of stories.

Classic science fiction
February 5th, 2015
Some of the best science fiction of the 1940 - 1960's was written by H. beam Piper. This collection contained almost of his shorter works including some of the seminal paratime stories that give important background for the Lord Kalvan of Otherwhen novel. A delightful read.
