Synopsis

Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten.

Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning-author John Green’s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

Terrific Book!!!
February 13th, 2015
Writing a review for a book that already has thousands of reviews seems unnecessary, but this book spoke to me. It spoke to me in the way that "An Imperial Affliction" spoke to Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters, which is to say it spoke profoundly. I'm sure I wasn't John Green's intended reader. I haven't read a YA book in 30 years and only did so on a recommendation. It surprised me to engage so intensely with a book again. I'm a fan and want to support something great.

Terrific Book!!!

Writing a review for a book that already has thousands of reviews seems unnecessary (and this is the 1st review I've written on Amazon), but this book spoke to me. So I guess I'm writing this, not because it needs to be said, but because I'm a fan and want to support something really great.

This book touched me! My father and aunt both had lung cancer, though only one survived, so this book touched very close to home. I cried so much but could not put this book down!

A refreshing realist romance
January 3rd, 2015
I, like many other young person in love with romance, enjoy overtly romantic gestures and beautifully written words. However, sometimes I feel like the true love is lost, buried within all of the "Prince charming" actions. This novel is refreshing because it shows the raw and rather realist side of love. Hazel and Augustus aren't overtly physical or verbal about their love and yet it is as tangible as the ground you stand on. Their love story was a beautiful and heart wrenching story, one that had me in tears and laughter. The characters became my friends, people I felt I truly knew and understood. I could foreshadow how some characters could respond the way you know your how your friends will respond to something before you say it. The depth given to these characters was remarkable. It was a pleasure to read !

Its overrated. The writing is good but rather boring and over hyped. Its also rather predictable. But John green is a amazing author. And his other books are amazing

BEAUTIFUL
December 27th, 2014
THE FAULT IN OUR STARS is a very heartfelt book, i cried numerous amouts of times. I found that it had adoable scenes and some sad scenes, though John Green managed to keep it realistic, so the audience could relate. If you are a fan of realistic fiction, this is an amazing read and may be up your alley!
