Synopsis

When Papa Bear tells the cubs why they should never talk to strangers, Sister begins to view all strangers as evil until Mama brings some common sense to the problem. "The Bears' rules for safe conduct among strangers are listed on the last pages, including a rule about the privacy of a bear's body. A good book to start awareness in young children."--School Library Journal.

Great Message
October 21st, 2013
Our 3 year old is as friendly as they come. But it's to a fault now. Going to a busy park is a challenge at best but he has recently started walking along side daycare providers as they leave the park. One read of this book with him and he started telling us that he shouldn't walk out of the park with strangers. He's getting the message and that is reassuring.
