Four friends
One sisterhood
Ten years later, the story continues

On the cusp of turning thirty, Tibby, Lena, Carmen, and Bridget are now living separate lives, out on their own. Yet despite having jobs and men that they love, each knows that something is missing: the closeness that once sustained them. Carmen is a successful actress in New York, engaged to be married, but misses her friends. Lena finds solace in her art, teaching in Rhode Island, but still thinks of Kostos and the road she didn’t take. Bridget lives with her longtime boyfriend, Eric, in San Francisco, and though a part of her wants to settle down, a bigger part can’t seem to shed her old restlessness. Then Tibby reaches out to bridge the distance, sending the others plane tickets for a reunion that they all breathlessly await. And indeed, it will change their lives forever—but in ways that none of them could ever have expected.

Sisterhood Everlasting
February 11th, 2015
Having previously enjoyed the earlier Sisterhood books I was interested to see if the character's lives had developed as I imagined. At first I found the book a challenging read, it did not flow as well as the previous books and I thought it was jumping around too much, ignoring characters and repeating itself. As the story progressed I found it easier to read and more enjoyable - more like the previous books. I hoped the story would continue a little further and tie up more loose ends but I can see why it ends when it does. It feels like the author put a lot of work and effort into reconnecting with the characters at the beginning and then was able to write more confidently and tell a better story as the book developed. Overall I think it's a great read.

Incredible; I cried at least five times. I have re-read the series multiple times, however every time I re-read 'Sisterhood Everlasting', I am brought to tears. This may dissuade some people from reading the book, but if you have read the earlier books I guarantee you will adore this book and will cause you to love the group of four even more...

A fantastic end to a fantastic series, as with the other books you will laugh, cry, and feel the pain of these girls (mostly the latter two as if it were your own. All of the loose ends are tied up and it's interesting (and oh so heartbreaking) to see where some of the girls ended up, roughly nine years after Forever in Blue. A must read for any fan of the series, and the series is definitely a must read for any group of friends or any woman, really, if they have not yet ventured into the Septembers' world yet.

Great book to tie up the series and answer some questions that left you wondering what their lives were like after the 4th book. I personally loved the series and this book was the perfect finish for a sisterhood fan like myself
