Synopsis

Seven Letters to Heaven tells the personal spiritual experiences of Felicita Robinson's relationship with God and her faith, through her seven prayer letters to God. Ms. Robinson is inspired daily by her strong faith and spiritual values. She shares, in a poignant, simple, and personal way, how her prayer letters were answered. She encourages others to believe that, through faith, they can also expect answers to their prayers. Her story unfolds in 1984 during her last four months in Jamaica, prior to relocating with her family to the United States. The events focus on her extraordinary journey where her faith was strengthened and her prayers answered, sometimes in the most unexpected ways. Interspersed throughout the book are some of her poems and thoughts on faith and prayers, as well as related scriptures from the Bible. From that very first letter, her habit of writing letters to the Lord took on a life of its own. Writing letters of prayer became her regular way of communicating with God and made her feel so much closer to him. The experience created a feeling of comfort, which inspired her to freely share everything that was within her heart.
