Synopsis

Set in early twentieth century England Frances Hodgson Burnett's Robin (1922) presents the life of the title character that is an orphaned little girl raised by her governesses and nurses. It portrays her love story as she encounters one of her childhood friends Donal who later enlists in the Army. In the absence of her lover who is reported as dead in action she is left with the responsibility of rearing their child on her own. But fate has still many surprises in store for her.
