Tom Clancy, the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Jack Ryan novels--including his latest blockbusters Command Authority and Threat Vector--delivers an electrifying tale of international conflict.

Using the latest advancements in military technology, the world's superpowers battle it out on land, sea, and air for the ultimate global control.

A chillingly authentic vision of modern war, Red Storm Rising is as powerful as it is ambitious.

It's a story you will never forget.

Hard hitting. Suspenseful.

And frighteningly real.

This is my first Tom Clancy book. I will definitely be reading more Tom Clancy titles in the future. For some reason quite a few spelling errors. Not a huge deal, but definitely something that needs to be fixed. Superb read.

One of the best

An older book, that I have read many times, and can never put down. One of Clancy's very best. Thrilling, fast paced and scary to think things really could have happened that way.

Still as good as ever

I read this book several times many years ago and totally wore out two paperback copies, one I purchased new from the book shop when it was first released, another I found in a school book sale after the first had fallen apart. Now I have my own ebook copy, which I hope will never wear out. Reading it again was just like the first time. I struggled to put it down, but even if my battery was not running out, the iPad Mini's certainly was. This is undoubtedly one of the finest Clancy novels, a masterful job of developing and maintaining so many strong primary characters, with an equal number of important secondary characters. I am sure to read it again, every few years.
