Synopsis

While on vacation in Bermuda, Jessica Fletcher is surprised to hear the local population is abuzz over a trio of murders, each bearing an eerie resemblance to the 1888 Jack the Ripper killings.

Jessica dismisses the panicked chatter as just that-until her friend Thomas Betterton's niece is found dead on the beach after a party. And when Scotland Yard Inspector George Sutherland arrives to investigate, Jessica can't help but get involved-an act that brings her dangerously close to a killer...

Another good one

I especially loved the Bermuda setting. I was not sure of the killer until close to the very end. My only complaint is that I am not a fan of the relationship between Jessica and George Sutherland, although it wasn't as gag-reflective as it has been in other books. I guess the character of George is here to stay but I loved all the books before him. I must be in the minority to not care for the silly pretend romance angle, not that I want a torrid romance. I just love the mystery stories - especially those set in Cabot Cove. But anything set in the Caribbean is very neat too.
